| About | ANTAKARANA enterprise was founded in the year 2002. We manufacture ornamental objects carved and hand painted inspired in the texture of the skin of exotic wild animals from the amazon and Orinoco regions. Our purpose is to promote, through our very useful and decorative objects, the care of these animals, which are presently in danger of extinction. To reveal our diversity of species of the fauna, and to work looking after the environment making our handcraft only using non toxic paint and reforested wood. In the year 2002, we began working with women head of families, who used to work in domestic tasks, In ANTAKARANA, they learned to make unique works of art with their hands, discovering a great potential in these ornamental pieces. They became interested in art and culture and in becoming better human beings. Currently, all the workers count with all the legal social benefits demanded by law. Traning programs, recreational activities, bonuses for school text books. They also belong to a savings cooperative where they have access to loans and funeral insurance. We work in an outdoor environment, where they can enjoy the sunshine and the play during the breaks. Our labor relationship is of great respect and friendship, where we can all participate, share ideas, contribute to more efficient processes, develop new products, and innovate permanently.
