| About | Our establishment, known as Ado Cimento, established in 7 August 1997 in Antalya has changed it name and become As Cimento Co. and made an integrated investment to Burdur, Bucak in 2003. According to our big experience in the cement industry, As Cement Co. decided to construct a second production line in 2006 after first production line was installed in 2005. Starting operations the Rotary kiln in the new investment, our clinker capacity has been increased to 4. 3 million ton year and cement capacity increased to 6. 5 million ton year. Our factory, targeting to be the biggest in the Mediterranean region, had a record 170 per cent enlargement with 210 mtons hour output rated vertical Loesche cement mill. In addition, our export target for 2008 is 300 million U. S. Dollars. Due to our ongoing investment schedule, in one year time period our clinker production has increased three more to its current state. As a result, by doing the production from one location As Cimento; is the biggest clinker and cement production line in Europe, Middle East and Turkey. Under the body of AS Group, there are group companies doing business in Concrete, Plastic, Mining Sectors and Port Operations. Free Zone Branch of AS CEMENT; ASCIMPORT A. S. has the capability and infrastructure to store 40, 000 tons of packaged (bagged, sling or big bagged) cement in 10, 555m2 warehouse. The vessels in ASCIMPORT Quay can be feed from the warehouses within 150-900 meters. That specialty of ASCIMPORT makes it unique in Turkey and one of the few ports in whole world. Our port is only 65 km away from our cement factory. With our current logistic network and operational advantages ASCIMPORT will start to play an important role in whole world cement sector and become the biggest and most important cement supplier in Black sea, Europe, Middle East and Mediterranean region. Our products quality and standards is satisfactory for not only the home market but also for the international markets. We are honored to state that our clinker production is ranked 1st in Turkey in terms of product quality. All of our products have CE certificate. Our facility is working within the context of ISO 9000: 2001 Quality managerial systems. Up until now, we have exported goods to Russian Federation, Middle East Region Countries, European Countries, Turkic Republics and Canada many times.
