| About | At the heart of Avi Trade Corp is none other than Steve Dinh, who was born in Vietnam, arrived in the US over thirty years ago. After earning a College degree in Business, he wasted no time and started pursuing his goals right away in shipping business. Avi has come a long way since mid 2005, separating from the cradle of ACL (American Container Line), Mr. Dinh first company in freight forwarding 20 years ago. It all started with Mr. Dinh vision for the untapped market of Vietnam with numerous unfulfilled needs as the country started to merge into the world community at the beginning of the 21st century. Mr. Dinh wide range of success in freight forwarding is partially due to ACL unconventional service strategies, over which he consulted his clients, not just to move their goods, but how best to move them profitably. As the company continued to grow, Mr. Dinh has earned the trust from both public and private sectors in the Vietnam market, to allow him to build a wide range of connections, in his preparation to launch Avi, an entity that will be entrusted to carry out his visions. Initially, Avi was established to concentrate in the area of trading and services. Avi long-term goal is to achieve the sustainable growth of corporate base through the development and expansion of its own product brands. This objective is being achieved by a planned approach to the diversification of the corporate product base; to help developing countries, like Vietnam as a typical case, building competitiveness and generating sustainable export-led economic growth. On the trade side, the company promotes and sells its own brands of herbal supplement diets, French wine, organic fertilizers, specialty coffee, nutrition milk, baby foods, mineral water, and fragrance rice. On the other hand, Avi offers a variety of services, ranging from worldwide cargo transportation-to move containers of goods to any destination all over the world, with a nationwide channel of distribution including all 50 states; Trade financing-assisting both importers and exporters of goods, and import duty and customs clearance consultations. Avi optimizes its synergy capabilities to offer its members in a program called Vietgroup for the purpose of promoting trade among its members on a worldwide basis. The scope of this dynamic and unique program is so huge that Avi was fortunate to share with a trustworthy and capable partner, VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce & Industry), on the Vietnam side and executed a contract of cooperation with this Vietnam-government body in early March 2010. The mission with VCCI is to connect Vietnam businesses and Vietnam-made products with the world within which America will be the main focus in the years to come. The vehicle used to pursue this mission is Avi Vietgroup Program, a web-based network, a Buy-Sell Forum for Vietgroup members to exchange business, trade information and investment opportunities worldwide. |
