| About | Altair Astro are a European optical retailer and distributor. We primarily distribute Canadian and American products throughout Europe and the UK. We distribute to companies in the following countries: United Kingdom (where we are based) , Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Czechokoslovakia, Norway, Sweden. We are interested in retailing and distributing Chinese, Japanese, American, Italian and German products in the UK and Europe. We are especially interested in new and exciting products for astronomy and CCD imaging and new types of perfromance telescopes which have good colour correction and a flat field for imaging use. We have an excellent representation in the astronomy field for retailing and distribution and a steadily growing customer base. We are a trusted partner for many European companies. We often approach manufacturers for samples of their products and if suitable, we promote them in the UK and European Astronomy press and at trade shows in order to get customers excited. We enjoy working with customers directly which is why we have a retail business, this also helps us keep up to date with the latest market trends and interests in the astronomy community.
