| About | Bwt Africa is able to design, manufacture, install and commission mobile (or containerised) water treatment package plants for the following applications: 1. Potable water treatment plants 2. Wastewater treatment plants (sewage) 3. Industrial effluents water treatment plants 4. Brackish or sea water desalination plants 5. Specialised application purification plants All the plants are built according to the clients specification and requirements in all respects, with the purified water or effluent meeting or bettering sabs (or who) quality standards. These plants thus address not only the water quality problems mentioned above, but do so using proven and current European technology. Bwt Africa partnership with the mother company, best water technologies ag in Austria, allows the company access to the following highly specialised, state-of-the-art water treatment technologies: 1. Ultra, micro and nano-filtration 2. Reverse osmosis desalination 3. Ultra-violet and ozone disinfection 4. Partial and total demineralisation with ion exchange The above processes and technologies can be applied in the following areas: 1. Desalination of saline water for human consumption or irrigation 2. Boiler feed water treatment and condensate polishing 3. Water purification for the breweries and beverage industries 4. Ultra pure water for use in hospitals and clinics 5. Ultra pure water for use the pharmaceutical and micro-electronic industry Bwt Africa is able to manufacture most of these units in South Africa using only reliable locally supported equipment so that cost and supply of spares, if required, is not a factor. An operation and maintenance contract is available as an option if required. The specialised and advanced technology equipment such as reverse osmosis membranes, which is not locally available, is supplied by bwt Europe. All research and development work is conducted by bwt Europe and any new technologies developed for the market are also available to bwt Africa. This allows bwt Africa to focus only on sales and marketing to the African market. |
