| About | Thank you for your interest in our baled Nylon 66 fiber generated from post consumer carpet. This product passes through a number of processes to down size, clean, and remove contaminates. When finished this product has a 7-9% ash content (from calcium carbonate) , 15% polypropylene (from the carpet backing) , and the balance Nylon 66. This product is currently being blended and molded into parts for the automotive industry-mostly under the hood applications such as fan shrouds and fan blades.
