| About | CATU Containers SA based in Geneva, Switzerland has been active in the container industry since 1974. The company is primilary engaged in maritime container leasing and trading new and used maritime container. We offer long term lease agreements and purchase lease agreements for all types of ISO maritime containers and work with all the major manufacturers of this equipment thoughout the world. We also offer a recycle package which involves exchanging older maritime containers and replacing them with new equipment. Trading new and used maritime containers has become very important over the last few years and we have global purchasing agreements with some of the worlds major shipping lines which allow us to buy their disposal equipment in locations throughout the world. We also manufacture on a constant basis new maritime containers which are then positioned from the factories into various locations and sold individually or in larger quantities. We can also build new equipment, including special containers, to customer's exact requirements and specifications and can then position them, if necessary, into their required locations, in some circumstances finance can also be provided. Our long term relationship with many major shipping lines puts us is a strong position to find solutions to moving equipment around the world. In 1997 we opened our own office in Hong Kong, Catu Container Far East Ltd, which allows us a strong presence in the very important Asian markets for both leasing and trading. We have long term business partners in all major countries throughout the world who together with our worldwide depot network allow us to be flexible and efficient. |
