Chiz Trucking Limited is an integrated cement trading and haulage company that focuses on providing one stop cement wholesaling and bulk transport solutions to Corporate Organizations and individuals across Zambia. VISION Our vision is to become Zambia's one stop cement wholesalers and distributors as well as a five star rated transportation company, offering bulk goods and personal transportation. OUR MISSION To provide superior cement wholesaling and transport solutions that is reliable and cost effective to our clients. OUR APPROACH We aim to serve our clients with utmost integrity and honest. We believe that developing long lasting business relationships is vital in today's competitive environment. Hence, our strategy is to work with institutions on a long term basis with a view to provide services (which are second to none) at competitive rates against our competitors. SERVICES Chiz Trucking Limited has two primary services, namely; cement trading that has spanned over twelve years; bulk transportation of commodities. We currently service bulk transportation 'on the spot' basis, and short or mid to long term contracts. We are able to haul three hundred metric tones of goods daily to any destination within Zambia. KEY STRATEGIES 1. Partner with corporate entities such as Zambezi Portland Cement Ltd. In marketing and distribution of its products on a long term basis. 2. Acquire adequate space for developing state of the art own warehouses. 3. Procure additional heavy duty trucks and working capital to support the company expansion and growth. 4. Recruit credible and strong professional managers, drivers and mechanics to spearhead our growth program and social responsibility in training unskilled community members. 5. Recruit and train local unskilled workers to enhance the improvement of our disadvantaged groups in society through on job training. 6. Relocate to new and bigger premises to accommodate the planned expansion of the company operations. 7. Develop mechanisms to attract larger business opportunities and wholesaling of cement. 8. Develop market penetration and distribution mechanism that is cost effective and efficient. 9. Leverage on the reputation and strong contact base of the Founder and Group Managing Director-Mr. T. Malaya that has developed over time in order to broaden opportunities for the operations. MANAGEMENT Mr. T. Malaya-Managing Director and Executive Chairman. Mr. T. Malaya is the founder and Managing Director of Chiz Trucking Limited. He is a holder of a Diploma in Marketing from Evelyn Hone College. He has worked in Kabwe Rural Cooperative Union and Tweshe Cooperative Society in both as a Marketing Manager for four years. At Kwik Save (Metro Cash and Carry) he worked there as a Store Manager for two years. He has been in transportation and cement trading for over fifteen years, i. E Chilanga Cement, PPC of Zimbabwe, Tembo of Tanzania and PPC Mozambique. He therefore has a wealth of experience in marketing and business management. Mr. A. V. Makova-General Manager Mr. A. V. Makova holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering (Bsc Compt) from the University of Zimbabwe. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Linux Administration and Geographical Information Systems from Africa Virtual University. Mr. Makova is currently studying his MBA.
