| About | We are a cooperative limited from chitwan Nepal. We are a group of young enterprenuers who are interested to utilize the local source for the local people, for the prosperity of the local society. Chitwan is a beautiful place, famous for " Chitwan National Park". Background of agriculture in Chitwan: Chitwan has always been the most happening place for agriculture and agro-related activities. It is famous in Nepal for its dominant production of mustard from which mustard oil is produced. This popularity in mustard plantation in Chitwan is attributed to the predominant soil type of the place. The soil in Chitwan is mostly of the type of slit. Chitwan is also profusely spotted with land with soil type clay which is very good for use as rice fields. Other popular cash crops in the region are maize and wheat. The soil here has also proven good for growing various types of vegetables such as cabbage, cauli-flower, radish, potato, broccoli, cucumbers, pumpkins, carrot, etc. Chitwan is also famous for floriculture, mushrooms cultivation, and honey production. In recent years, Chitwan has made a big leap in the poultry industry. It now supplies over 60% of the poultry needs of the country. In addition to that, Chitwan has made a huge progress in fish farming, livestock farming, fruit production and preservation, and dairy. The institute of agriculture and animal sciences (IAAS) , the only agricultural institute under Tribhuvan University, being in Chitwan has also contributed a lot to the development of agriculture sector here by producing technically competent middle and high-level human resources ready to apply knowledge and skills in practice. We have taken agriculture as one of its priority sectors, the other three being health, education and tourism. We are interested to work with investors, social organizations, who have interest in chitwan district. |
