| About | The Company Group was originally established in 1996 as Compact Enterprises Limited by Geoff Thorne to provide engieering services on a contact basis to the Construction and Building industry and has since been expanded to engaged in various trading and manufacturing activities, mainly in Asia. with Hong Kong as a hub. In 2002 Jean Thorned joined the Group bringing with her some 15 years of furniture retailing and associated business experience in the region and many useful contact sales and manages our office/showroom in Aberdeen, HK. In 2006, we opened a factory in the Philippines to fabricate mother of Pearl products. From its inception, it has been our intention to remain a compact operation and that by being small and easily manageable the Group would be better positioned to supply a wide variety of goods and services to a high standards. By being versatile and willing to diversify we are able to adapt strategically to take advantage of rapid changes in demand in the various competitive and fluid markets. By keeping overheads low the Group is better able to offer products at prices generally below those tendered elaswhere, a requirement welcomed if not demanded by clients. In keeping with such an outlook the companies within the group accept contracts order of up to a value of HK8.0M. Whilst we remain adaptable to changes in demand and open to marketing opportunities, presently, the main part of our business is concerned with the supply and /or production of high value furniture, fittings, and furnishings. |
