| About | Demimpex is a worldwide export company mainly focused on Africa. The company exports new tropicalised vehicles (saloons, 4X4, buses, transformed vehicles, tractors), mining and civil engineering machinery, industrial equipment and spare parts. General presentation of Demimpex : Demimpex was created in 1991 and has steadily grown at an exceptionally fast pace during the last ten years. Demimpex is a worldwide export company mainly focused on Africa. The company exports new tropicalised vehicles (saloons, 4X4, buses, transformed vehicles, tractors), mining and civil engineering machinery, industrial equipment and spare parts. Demimpex centralises and coordinates the distribution of brands such as Nissan, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi, JMC, Hitachi (Construction, Public Works & Mining), John Deere Construction & Forestry, John Deere Agriculture, Merlo (telescopic handlers & concrete mixers), Michelin, Ingersoll-Rand within numerous African countries. Demimpex enjoys office space about 1,500 m2, a showroom near Brussels National airport as well as a logistic centre of 30,000m2 in the heart of Antwerp's port. Demimpex has a subsidiary in the Misurata Free Zone in Libya since January 2010 and commercialises construction machinery brands John Deere, Hitachi and XCG/John Deere. A few words from our CEO: We created DEMIMPEX in 1991. At the time, the Company's first activity was the sale and shipment of spare parts in Africa. We were then meeting a crucial need for overseas customers: providing fast availability of the right parts to avoid the wastage of time and money involved by the immobilisation of a vehicle or a machine. Very quickly, the services provided by DEMIMPEX won clients and extended to the sale of light vehicles, tropical standard 4x4s, trucks and then site machinery and industrial equipment. In 1993, to meet the need for transport for parts and vehicles on the African continent, we decided to set up an aviation company, which was initially dedicated to freight only. Two years later, the young company DEMIMPEX moved into a different dimension by taking over " Vehicle Repair Parts" (V.R.P.), The Belgian company for the distribution of 4X4 vehicles and spare parts worldwide. In 1997, due to increased customer demand, DEMIMPEX decided to extend its range to construction equipment. It now offers a wide range of machinery for mining companies as well as public works and construction companies. Today, our facilities consist of 1,500 m2 of offices, a vast showroom, 5,000 m2 of customs warehouses near Brussels National Airport, a 30,000 m2 logistics centre in the heart of the port of Antwerp, a " Packing" department, and a " Expedition" department, benefitting from unique experience of air and maritime freight and combined transport (air, overland, sea). The success of DEMIMPEX proves that a sense of service and a care for work well done are the best foundations for building up a business. This state of mind is shared by all our workforce and I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for their involvement and enthusiasm. Together, we will continue to succeed in our work.
