| About | Daika limited is a consulting company created in 2003, which acts as at all stages of the bot process (build, operate, train and transfer) on behalf of its clients (major companies and government bodies in Europe and the middle east) to: 1. analyses opportunities and needs and develop action plans in its area of competence to resolve the issues, when necessary with the help or in joint venture with ad hoc qualified professional associates, 2. search and negotiate when needed the acquisition of equipments, assets, products, services and intellectual property programs such as films on behalf of clients, 3. handle delivery, quality check, final processing when necessary and installation of the acquired goods and services where needed, 4. train the client personnel to take over within a reasonable time the full operations of those equipments, 5. provide solutions for the selection and the supply on an on going basis of associated raw materials, components, supplies, parts, upgrades and maintenance. Due to a long standing consulting relationship with the kurdistan since 1999 on issues dealing with television satellite broadcast and program acquisition, we have been approached in 2003 by iraqi investors to help create a television network in northern Iraq, From that successful starting point, we have appointed late 2004, two commercial representatives and one full time lobbyist to investigate permanently the many opportunities arising mainly in the areas of: 1. television and the media 2. communication (airport staffing, equipment and operation) 3. food supplies (sugar, edible oil, poultry) 4. energy (medium and large size power generators, power distribution, petroleum) 5. security and surveyance (armoured cars, GSM crypto mobile phones, etc.) 6. health (ambulances, medical supplies) Since january 2005, we have signed 6 contracts with the regional government of the Itaqi Kurdistan and major local groups. We have also entered into on going discussions with at least one major industrial group listed on the lse to investigate a possible direct investment to build and own a plant in the kurdistan region and supply not only the region but also Iraq as far as baghdad. Kurdistan is to receive and control in excess of some 20% of the proceeds of the national Iraqi oil sales and we believe that our investments in people and presence in the last four years will now start to bear its fruits for the next several years! |
