| About | DANBIT, Dansk Binaer Teknik A / S, was started in 1970 as a privately owned company. It has since been converted into a publicly traded (joint stock) company. During the early years our primary tasks were electronic measuring of mechanical quantities-electronic weighing in particular. Danbit has always been, and continues to be, a supplier of scales and automatic equipment all over the world. In the late 1970's DANBIT produced computer systems which were used for the calculation of recipes for ready-mixed concrete and control of the actual weighing. DANBIT was among the first companies to import hardware from Taiwan. We started with the importing computer equipment, which we rebuilt into telephones for hearing-impaired customers. Through this entire time DANBIT has maintained its strategy with technical expertise as the most important factor. In recent years, our activities have shifted to sales of special PC-oriented products for industrial application. DANBIT is main supplier for more than 4000 special PC-oriented products. Danbit imports products from companies in Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, Germany and England. As most of our suppliers are in Taiwan, we have our own office in Taipei. Today DANBIT has net capital of about US $4. 5 million and better than 75 per cent degree of solidity. Danbit is a sound working partner with exclusively Danish capital. |
