| About | The European Commission and Turkey are co-financing the creation and development of a EU Business Development Centre (ABIGEM) as a not for profit organization in Gaziantep / Turkey. The intention is to improve the performance of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Turkey, in particular to enhance their exports through international networking. Gaziantep is a major industrial city in Turkey. Textile is the leading sector, although other sectors such as plastic, carpet, dry food, soap and machinery production are also significantly represented.
