The basis of Esico lays in the food industry where a SS-steel Belt Process System for Petfood production became - and still is - a worldwide success in steam-cooking Petfood for companies like Mars, Nestle and many others. Our know-how makes Esico a powerfull partner. In order to comply with the increasing demand for Solid Surface, Esico has developed a unique system for continuous sheet casting. This special sheet casting belt system is suitable for the continuous production of massive plastic sheets in various thickness, widths and lengths. Thanks to the sophisticated construction highly qualified, massive plastic material can be produced with less personal and material costs. Carefully developed and controlled processes take care that all products undergo the same treatment, with optimal use of energy. An product with a constant, high quality is guaranteed this way Resins and other materials are mixed and distributed over the stainless steel belt, after which they harden on the belt. The layer thickness is automatically determined and fixed by a PLC program. The belt system is brought and kept on the ideal process temperature by means of a well thought-out heating system. Silicon profiles bound the product in the liquid phase. The silicon profiles can be simply adjusted in width by means of a hand wheel. In this way the production of sheets in various widths can be read from a display Surface and material of the belt play an important role. Stainless steel belts with extremely good chemical resistance qualities are very suitable for these purposes. These belts do have: . an extremely good heat and pressure transfer . high strength characteristics . a good corrosion resistance Technical details: Sheet width : 600 to 1,350 mm Sheet thickness : 30 mm Max. Sheet length : 2.050 to 5.350 mm Using a saw, the endless produced sheets are cut to the desired length. The saw is mounted directly behind the belt system. A mechanism claps to the moving sheet so the saw is moving together with the sheet while cutting it. |
