| About | Gilimex was established in 1982 as a state-owned company, and transferred into a share-holding enterprise in 2000. We was listed on the viet nam stock market in 2001 with the registered capital of 2 million $us dollars). The current issued stock has been increased up to 3 million us$ dollars. The stock market value is worth 12 million us dollars. We have 3 facilities, the furnishing factory is the largest one. It was set up in 1987. The total area base is about 11 700 square metter. Gilimex factory is installed with a quality management system of ISO 9001:2000 certified by bvqi. Furthermore, we follow the standard of sa 8000 to ensure our social accountability. The manufactuer is exporting 100% goods. Ikea is our biggest customer with 60% our business. Target, jc penney, sears, habitat and so on are other valuable customers. We produce a various type of furnishing products, home living products like home storages, luggages, cushions, backpacks, rucksacks, bags and so on. Total employees of the factory is about 1700 peoples including 28 executives. We have about 31 production lines with over 1300 machines that make up a capacity of producing 30 million us dollars of goods value per year. |
