| About | On the southern slopes of the Cegledbercel hills visitors can take delight in the sight of carefully cultivated vineyards. In these vineyards vine, as well as wine of excellent quality have been produced for centuries-the place has been named Golden Hill accordingly. The area of these beautiful vineyards is almost 200 ha. Among the world widely known and popular vine varieties Chardonnay and Rhine Riesling, among the Hungarian varieties Harslevelu, Leanyka and the more and more popular Cserszegi Fuszeres (Cserszegi Spicy) provide the vine for white wines, whereas Kekfrankos (Blue Franc) is the basic vine variety for red wine. The basic facility of the dynamically developing Co-operative is the arched cellar which was carved in the loess wall in the 1700s, and has an excellent inner climate. The cellar offers an ideal venue for the visitors to taste the wines and find out the high quality of wines, to enjoy the hospitality of and services provided by the Wine Order named after Laszlo Unghvary. |
