| About | Green habitat solutions is a company that was commenced in 2001 introducing the mongolian yurt to the Australian landscape for the first time. Its first container load of yurts to Australia arrived in 2003 and onloaded 6 of them to antarctica for an ecotourist venture. Since that time ghs has continued to bring in 1 container each year. As the interest has grown we are now expanding our business field to include the commercial areas of temporary structures. This area of course requires a much higher standard of structure and health & safety requirements, one of which is the quality of the canvas we intend using. It is therefore of interest to our company that we find suitable products close to the point of manufacture. China is our market and we wish to remain there. We sell into the australasian and pacific region and are in the process of upgrading our product to become available for commercial applications such as restaurants and small theatres, reception venues and meeting halls. We are a growing business and see a great future in Australia for this kind of temporary structure. We employ and train a small team of workers in the skill required for yurt construction including a youth organisation that has become a sponsored ally. |
