| About | Guangzhou Baiyun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (originally called Guangzhou Baiyun Sealant Factory), established in 1985, is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and management of organic silicon products, various building sealants and high-performance new materials. Our company is located in the Private Science and Technology Park of Guangzhou, New and High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of more than 40,000 square meters, with 300 staff members now and a research and development team made up of academicians, doctors and masters with advanced technology. Baiyun Chemical, one of the largest production bases of building sealants in China, is the only "demonstration base for the industrialization of new technology of building sealants" throughout the industry granted by the Ministry of Construction. Our first fully-automatic continuous production line with the advanced world level and completely self-owned intellectual property at home is constructed. At present, four fully-automatic continuous production lines at home all have been settled down in Baiyun Chemical. Besides, in 2004, Baiyun Chemical became the first enterprise at home that developed products to protect cultural relics at advanced world level and the third one globally that developed and produced Nylon 66 energy-saving heat-insulation strips. In 2005, Baiyun Chemical took the lead in developing super high-performance silicone sealants, which was the first at home, and the second in the world. Our Baiyun Academy of International Scientific Research of Guangdong is the first private scientific research institute in China. The products of Baiyun Chemical are famous-brand products in China, and are widely applied in tens of thousands of construction projects including the Olympic venues such as Bird's Nest and Water Cube, Guangzhou New Baiyun Airport, and Guangzhou West Tower. In addition, Baiyun Chemical also boasts the "Post-Doctoral Research Center" granted by the Ministry of Personnel. Our company is a main drafting unit and promoter of national standards and industrial standards of building sealants in China. Besides, we have ever won honors including "Guangdong Provincial Top 100 Private Enterprises", "second prize of innovation achievements in the management of modern enterprises at national level", "key high-tech enterprise in the state Torch Plan", and "Guangdong Enterprise with Advantages in Intellectual Property". In 2008, we were granted the title of "the Base for International Science & Technology Cooperation" by the Ministry of Science and Technology. |
