| About | Henan Tongyu Metallurgy Materials Group Co., Ltd. is a key company in the industry of steel-making protective and refractory materials in China. Our group company was established in 1997 and is mainly engaged in R&D, production and promotion of new technology, products and instruments of steel-making protective and refractory materials. Our annual sale volume of steel-making protective materials is over 300,000 tons, taking a leading position in this industry in the country. More than 130 kinds of products of 6 series are produced by our company, such as series products of pre-melted continuous casting mould powder, drainage agents, ladle/tundish insulation, dreg-absorbing agents, refined synthetic slag, coke purifying agents and sintered spraying agents. They are sold to more than 160 domestic steel enterprises, covering a market share of more than 98%. Some of the products are sold to countries and regions such as Malaysia and Russia. In 2002, our company invested over 20 million Yuan in building a production line of high drawing speed continuous casting grain protective dregs and high drawing speed small square base continuous casting mould powder, with the characteristics of high drawing speed, good spreading performance, even melting, smooth surface of cast base and high rate of success. This project was recognized as one of the first batches of key hi-tech industrialization projects of Henan Province in 2002 and awarded 2-grade provincial scientific achievement prize by the Department of Science and Technology of Henan. In April 2003, this project was awarded as a National Torch Plan Project. In the recent years, our company has cooperated with more than 10 research institutes in the country to successfully develop more than 50 kinds of series of products, such as high drawing speed small square base continuous casting mould powder , plate base continuous casting mould powder, ladle/tundish insulation, drainage sand, synthetic slag, to satisfy the demands of steel enterprises. |
