| About | As to introduction. The grapefruit, which we called it Changshan grapefruit, is known as 'NO. 1 pomelo in China'. It is cultivated with through decade's experiment. Changshan grapefruit is planted under the no-pollution environment, presents fine golden color, moderate size, sweet-smell. It has a much better tastes than normal grapefruit, like refreshing, crisp, juicy, sweet and a little bitter. Usually it is being picked in early November and can remain fresh till next April and even May. It has been awarded as high quality farm product and green food by the state agriculture dep, and awarded as the first class fruit on the national farm-products exposition. Also it is appointed as the fruit can be used on state banquet, and it is the appointed fruit for Olympic Beijing 2008. In the village of Changshan, nearly every family plants large area of Changshan grapefruit and Pengan trees. So it is good source for Mandarin grapefruit and orange.
