JAY specialises in facilitating investment from Chinese organisations into Australian mining companies and their exploration and mining projects. JAY has formed a strategic relationship over the past three years with the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources and has assisted the Bureau and its subsidiary organisations invest in Australian projects. In 2008 JAY introduced the Bureau to Bauxite Resources Limited, an Australian ASX public listed company with extensive bauxite interests in Western Australia. This resulted in the Bureau investing $10 Million share placement in Bauxite Resources and involvement in the on-going exploration and development of the bauxite project. In 2009 JAY introduced the Bureau to Matsa Resources Limited, an ASX listed company with extensive gold and iron ore interests in Western Australia and Thailand. Recently the Bureau invested an initial share placement of $4.5 million into Matsa and is currently in the advanced stages of negotiating a further share placement and joint venture agreements regarding the gold and iron ore projects, involving the Bureau gaining substantial equity interest in both projects. |
