| About | Fused glass at its most techniques involves layering of thin sheets of glass (coloured and transparent) and firing them in kilns at temperatures of over 800 degrees celcius, for a period of time, where the glass placed on top of each other melts to form one unique piece, after then allowed for a period of time to cool, to produce a finished product. A full fuse process, where the glass becomes very fluid before being cooled, results in pieces where the edges are fully rounded and there will be no sign that the product is actually made out of layers of thin glass. My pieces are the result of colours and shapes, that interact with each other, and the use of high temperatures within the fusing process. Each piece is Handmade and Unique!! |
