| Description | K4169 is a conventional equiaxed casting nickel-chromium-iron superalloy developed for components requiring high strength and good fabricability below approximately 650–700°C. Strengthened primarily by the body-centered tetragonal γ″ phase with supporting γ′ precipitates, the alloy offers excellent tensile properties, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, and resistance to strain-age cracking. Produced as casting superalloy bars, K4169 material is suitable for further machining into bolts, studs, nuts, and other fasteners that must maintain integrity under elevated temperatures and corrosive environments. The alloy’s balanced composition ensures good weldability and casting performance while delivering reliable mechanical properties after standard heat treatment. |
