| About | We specialise in selling/packing wild bee (mostly apis dorsata) honey from Malaysia and it's surrounding areas. We also sell wild bee pollen (bee bread). The Apis Dosata wild bee is also known as the Giant Honeybee and is found predominantly in South Asia, notably in the jungles of Southeast Asia. It is believed to be the descendant of ancient honeybee species that have survived prehistoris Ice Age, as South Asia was not covered by ice unlike the rest of the world then. The Apis Dorsata prefers to make their single comb nests high up in tall trees deep in the tropical rainforest. Jungle natives risk loss of life and limb to harvest the honey of this wild aggressive bee which is prized for it's healing properties and rich flavour. Our honeys are harvested direct from the honeycomb in the tree together with bee pollen and royal jelly. Such honey tastes quite different from typical farm bee (apis melliferra) honey and is very rare. Our honeys are pure, all natural and unprocessed. Thus the taste, appearance and other properties will vary from batch to batch. We also sell other (imported) bee products like Fresh Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen granules, bee propolis for the local Malaysian market. |
