| About | Kiiking is a sport where a person must swing over a winding drum with the help of ones own muscles and will power. The longer the shaft the harder it is to complete the loop around the drum. (Shaft sizes are adjustable. ) At the present-day kiiking is practised only in Estonia, there are some clubs and a federation, who organizes championships. The top result for mens shaft lenght is 7m02cm( 23.03 ft. ) and for woman 5m91cm ( 19.39 ft. ). These are world records and are marked in The Guinnes Book of World Records. In Estonia kiiking has been very successful during summer shows and concerts, where there has always been a number of partisipators and spectators. |
