| About | The climate treaty, the Kyoto Protocol, the European ban on conventional light bulbs in 2009, the obligation to diminish the CO2 emission and to decrease the energy consumption, show that energy consumption, durable energy and the world environment will have top priority on the world agenda and in commercial life during the coming years. Companies will be audited on their energy consumption (EPA) and extra taxes will be installed for over-consumption. At the other hand, more and more subsidies, tax advantages and discounts are given to companies that really do an effort to reduce the energy consumption and thus the CO2 emission. At the moment, LED is the fastest and most efficient way to achieve the goals that have been agreed by our governments. Together with the subsidies and support from the European and local authorities, the investment in and conversion to LED can even give a positive financial stimulus.
