| About | In 1938, in the Pera district of Istanbul, Turkey, we opened our doors to show all the world the beauty of Turkish handicrafts. Our mission was, and still is; to keepalive the wonderful arts that come from the heart and soul of Anatolia. Each of our objects has its own unique story to tell, so we have chosen to produce our works under the name "Myth Arts" - a name that invokes thoughts of mystery, fantasy, and history. By staying focused on our goal, we quickly became one of the largest exporters of handicrafts in all of Turkey. In 2006 we opened our office and retails shop in the States. Today we have production in all parts of anatolia and are the largest exporter & wholesaler of handicrafts. Although we are using the most modern technology, the preservation of the integrity and soul of each object is of utmost importance. We have remained loyal to the traditional production methods of the 16th century - focusing on quality, history, beauty, and detail. A wide selection from our collections are available in our four retail shops (Gulhane & Beyoglu- Istanbul; Delmar & La Jolla - California) and through many art & handicraft stores in the USA, Gulf, Middle East, Australia and Europe. Proud of our heritage, our vision has been to introduce the rich culture and heartfelt effort that has been infused into these objects and survived since the time of the Hitites, Seljuks, and Byzantines... all the way to ottoman and modern times. These designs and production methods are best represented in Anatolia's ceramics, lamps and home accesoires.
