| About | The Company was incorporated in 1976 under the guidance of Mr. Naginbhai V. Bhojani to primarily manufacture double filtered groundnut oil under the brand name SHREE GITA, which has become very popular in the Morvi Area since last many years. As per the increase in demands from the market the company went into expansion in 1991, installing 6(Six) new Oilseed Expellers, increasing it's total number to 9(Nine), after it's establishment with,3(Three) expellers in 1976. Along with expansion in the Oilseed Crushing Division it got into a new business of Kapas(Raw Cotton) Ginning& Pressing of Cotton Lint. The unit consisted of 12 Single Roller Gins and 12 Double Roller Gins, to manufacture 15 Mt. Of Cotton Lint, and around the year 1998 for increasing the capacity it went on to replace the 12 Single Roller gins to 12 New Double Roller Gins, as well bringing in another 6(Six) double roller gins, taking it's total capacity to 28(Twenty Eight) with manufacturing capacity of 30 Mt. Of Cotton Lint per day(I. E:180 bales of 165 Kg. Per day. ) along with it a fully modernized Pneumatic kapas and cotton lint conveying system by LAXMI MACHINE WORKS, Coimbtore was installed to get a better quality of Cotton with less foreign materials consisting thrash& various other impurities etc. There are mainly two varieties of cotton ginned in our factory namely 1) Shankar - 6 and 2) V - 797(Kalyan). In the year of 2002 the Ginning and Pressing Division was certified an 'A' Grade by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India under its technology mission on cotton plan. Further to this, the company is presently into setting up of an edible oil refinery of 50 TPD from ALFA LAVAL, Pune with its most modern technology to process all types of vegetable oils. |
