In 1965, 4 brothers, their papa and their families left war-torn Korea to open a grocery store in the "Land of Opportunity". As fate would have it, Thomas Lee, the youngest of the four was delegated the dried fruits and nuts aisle. Thomas Lee, who became affectionately known as Uncle Peanut grew this humble aisle into a multi-million dollar business($8 million in annual sales to be exact). In 1996, Naturalee strategically acquired Gust Picoulas Nut Co., a business that was in existence since 1907. As a result, Naturalee now distributes roasts and packs all of its dried fruits and nuts in its warehouse located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Naturalee offers the highest quality bulk and wholesale dried fruits and nuts. Customers can choose from some the most popular varieties, such as healthy almonds and apples, scrumptious cashews and peaches, wholesome walnuts and nectarines, delicious hazel nuts and papaya spears, tasty pistachios and mangoes, fine filberts and dates along with raw & roasted peanuts in the shell. Naturalee, the Lees are a bit nuts. Yet, we are excited about expanding our fruitful yet humble empire outside of the Western States. |
