The Oceanus team has 150 years of collective experience developing products for major consumer products manufacturers including Wrigley, Proctor & Gamble, Dial, Nabisco, and PepsiCo to name a few. Carrageenan has been available at major retailers since June 2006, and research for Carrageenan took over 3 years before it was launched to the market. Are these products safe? Purified water, carrageenan and other natural ingredients make our lubricants safe and effective. The Carrageenan Personal Lubricant product and the G Stimulating Lubricant product were developed, tested and manufactured following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). All product labeling follow cosmetic regulations 21 CFR 701. All ingredients in these products are approved for use in cosmetic and medical device products. And most ingredients are also GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) which are FDA-approved ingredients safe enough for use in food. Onkor and Internal Harmony Creams contain ingredients that are approved cosmetic ingredients as well as other natural herbs and vitamins that have been used safely for years. Oceanus finished product testing included the following: Microbial challenge testing (preservation effectiveness), skin irritation testing, latex compatibility testing and cytotoxicity testing. Cytotoxicity is a study that uses human cells in determining whether or not a formula/ingredient does damage to cells. Our formula was found to be non-toxic. |
