| About | RUN Chlodnia is a producer of high quality frozen foods and a provider of freezing and deep-freezing services. The Company assumed its present name in February 1999 as a result of the privatization process of a state-owned freezing company called Chlodnia we Wloclawku. RUN Polish-American Joint-venture Company is the major stockholder. PRESENT DAY RUN Chlodnia currently produces several frozen ready meals, as well as frozen fruits and vegetables, such as strawberries, sour cherries, black currants, blueberries, plums, onions, broccoli, and cauliflower. These products are sold in domestic and EU markets. The Company employs 380 people and is managed by Mr. Remigiusz Narkowicz, who was appointed President by the shareholders. Mr. Aleksander Bochenski is Chairman of the Board and manages the RUN joint venture company. People, quality, licenses, and standards. Our motto is "better none than bad" Chlodnia we Wloclawku has always been recognized in the market for its quality frozen food products. After the privatization and establishment of RUN Chlodnia, the company's new management decided that only continuous commitment to the production of superior goods will allow the company to attain and retain its valued customers in today's hyper- competitive market. Management understands that in the food business, only the highest quality people can make the highest quality products. Therefore, our vision for the future starts with our people. With this in mind, we invest in our employees by providing continuous training programs in numerous areas, such as production safety, hygiene standards, as well as soft skills like teamwork. The company also devised an incentive compensation system that rewards employees for excellent performance. The Company has also invested heavily in new production lines and the modernization of its freezing facilities. We are constantly improving the quality and effectiveness of our entire production process, from cooperating with our suppliers to delivering the final product to our customers. Our plant produces food in accordance with EU standards and has secured EU licenses for meat processing and freezing, as well as for storage and delivery of poultry, beef, and pork products. In addition, many of our products also meet USDA standards. The Quality Assurance department has implemented the HACCP food safety system for all the company's products. Since January 2004, the company has been holding the International Food Standard (IFS) awarded at the highest level by TUV Nord-Cert. We have also achieved BRC A Grade that guarantee excellence of our products and good quality of the services.
