| About | SAHEL FISHING is a company that is active in the following areas : - Fishing - Exportation of fresh and frozen fish from Mauritania and Senegal I. Fishing We have at our deposal a flotilla of ships working in numerous sites (Nouakchott, Nouadhibou and other encampments), which secure a significant part of our supply of fish of diverse kinds and of recognized international quality. This flotilla of ships is made of pirogues for peche du jour and others for prolonged fishing, all of which run by teams of experienced fishermen. - Pirogues for peche du jour operate on a daily basis. They possess a great mobility which ensures both diversity and quality. - Pirogues for a prolonged fishing are designed to stay in the ocean for days at a time and to bring in large quantities of diverse first-choice fish. To this end SAHEL FISHING has a considerable weekly production capacity of fresh and frozen fish of all kinds, which allows it to export to various desitinations abroad. To this fishing sector, we dedicate enormous amount of time and resources and employ hundreds of personnel. II. EXPORTATION In order to meet in an efficient manner the norms and standards of quality set by the European Union, we have set unites for appropriate treatment and conditioning in both Nouakchott and Nouadhibou. All the production that comes from different fishing sites is treated and conditioned\packaged using modern means. |
