| About | ShipX provides Internet auction and marketing tools to the global maritime community which help maximize trading value of one-of-a-kind assets. ShipX is part of the www.tradewinds.no website, and the service was launched February 12th 2010. We offer our services to sellers, traders, brokers and buyers of new, used, damaged, end-of-life or surplus assets used in yards, ships and ports. Simply put, ShipX allows sellers with assets they no longer need or want to list these for sale by auction. ShipX will market the auctions to potential buyers and encourage them to bid. After a few buyers start bidding, the competition heats up, and the market value of the asset is determined. The seller and buyer may then complete the transaction. Our ambition is to to be recognized in the maritime industry as the preferred auction tool to determine the market price of one-of-a-kind assets. |
