| About | Sumatera Coal Marketing Pte. Limited is the marketing arm of Gatehouse Trade Services Pte. Limited. This company specialises in the trade and financing of steam coal for small and medium sized miners in Indonesia. Small miners often find it difficult to deliver the coal they can sell to the buyers of that coal. They lack the money to finance the pre-shipment costs (coal getting, transport to port or jetty, crushing, loading, etc.). This is where we can help either by buying the coal and selling it to your buyers or by providing the finance. We are looking for small and mendium sized miners who need the services we can provide and for buyers interested in smaller quantities (8,000 to 35,000 MT per shipment). It should be noted that we are interested only in transactions i.e. both miner and end buyer must be in place. In principle we are only interested in FOB transactions or, at least, in transactions where the independent quality control takes place at the shipping end (naturally with full involvement of the buyer).
