| About | Surface was created in 2004 to serve designers, architects and the general public directly, showcasing new and contemporary products in a fresh and stimulating environment. Surface is backed by sister company Domus Tiles, a major player in the construction market for over 40 years. With two huge exhibition-quality spaces in London and one smaller showroom at their head office in Surrey, Surface had become the most talked-about destination for interior professionals and private clients. Every tile, many of which are exclusive to Surface, is hand-picked for its superior visual or technical quality and is displayed in carefully lit roomsets or panels. Moods or zones determine how the products are grouped and brochures and take-home samples are colour-coded to ease the decision process. Each showroom has a designated play area where customers are encouraged to lay-out their architectural drawings, select tiles from the samples bar (over 3,000 tiles), and experiment with surface solutions. And of course, the highly trained sales team are always on hand to offer expert advice. |
