About Taftan Louleh:

Taftan Louleh (TL) , which is a subsidiary of Jonoube Shargh Industrial Company, is the largest manufacturer of corrugated pipes in Iran. The machineries have all been purchased from Corma Inc. In Canada. It was established in 2003 with applying the most modern machinery.

For the first time, the TL pipes, benefit from IDSC (In-line Double Skin Coupling) technology, which is a leading method in manufacturing double wall HDPE corrugated pipes in the world.

TL, produces its pipes with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 1400 mm and also is capable of manufacturing these pipes at 2 different pressures i. E. 4 KNm 2 and 8 KNm 2 according to PrEN13476 (or 31. 5 KNm 2 and 63 KNm 2 according to DIN16961) .

1) Features of TL pipes:

A) Production Process

The raw material used to produce these pipes is HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene) .

B) In-Line Coupling

This is one of the most important features of TL products, which makes it pretty much distinguishable from other pipes.

C) Strength and Ring Stiffness

The corrugation of the outer surface, provides TL pipes, with very high ring stiffness, which is required for any pipe that is to be used underground. Tl currently manufactures its pipes at two different pressures, SN4 and SN8, where SN corresponds to the ring stiffness in the units of KNm 2, according to PrEN13476. For instance, SN8 pipes, have the minimum ring stiffness of 8 KNm 2 at 5 percent deflection.

D) Unique Outer Layer Profile

TL produces its pipes with a very unique profile, which is unlike any other Double Wall corrugated pipes. This design is aimed at increasing the maximum pressure that the exterior wall can withstand.

E) Chemical and Corrosion Resistance

The raw materials used in producing TL pipes, do not exhibit a uniform chain structure and therefore they are immune from acid and basic media, exhibiting high resistance to chemicals (HDPE preserves its physical and chemical stability up to 60 C.

F) Optimum Hydraulic

The smooth inner wall of TL pipes with the maximum coefficient of roughness of less than 0. 007 mm, ensures maximum flow with minimum drag, after long-term use.

G) Abrasion Resistance

Abrasion is the wear caused by the combined mechanical actions of erosion and corrosion. Abrasion test indicates that HDPE pipes experience only a negligible increase in abrasive were, compared to Steel, Cast Iron and other Rigid pipes.

H) Weather Resistance

TL pipes contain additive which protects pipes from Ultraviolet light. This gives these pipes, the maximum weather resistance in practice.

I) Impact Resistance

TL Corrugated pipes can easily take the knocks and bumps during handling, moving and installation. The combination of non brittle HDPE and its unique corrugated exterior design, makes TL pipes capable of sustaining impact at almost any condition.

2) Product Range:

TL Double Wall corrugated pipes are produced in unit length of 6 meters (excluding the Bell and Spigot sections) .

3) Applications:

HDPE Twin Wall Corrugated Pipes are currently the most efficient and therefore the commonest pipes in various non pressurized municipal and industrial gravity projects such as:

Storm, rain, and melt water systems

Sewerage

Gravity water mains

Culverts

Drainage

Cable ducts

These pipes are among the most successful and versatile pipes in the world.

4) Advantages of TL:

Best alternative for VCP, PVC, Cast Iron and Concrete pipes

Much Easier and quicker installation in comparison to other pipes due to have In Line Coupling

Producing pipes in 2 different standards of SN4 and SN8 in terms of ring stiffness

Resistant against abrasion, corrosion, erosion and adverse weather

Much lower weight in comparison to other pipes

Optimum long term Hydraulic properties with very low coefficient of roughness

High flexibility

Long life and durability
