We are a manufacturing company based in Stratford Upon Avon, in the UK, since 1956. We have over 50years experience in the design, development and manufacture of threaded inserts for plastics,composites and more recently light metal alloys. Tappex is one of the UK most successful privately owned specialist fastener manufacturing companies, supplying major OEMS, their moulding companies and/or assembly operations, throughout the world. Tappex hold both National and International accreditations in Quality and Environmental Management. Tappex extensive range of own inserts for plastics, includes more than 20 standard variations from M1.6 to M12 (larger sizes are possible), for use in all grades of thermoplastic, thermoset, structural foam, composite material and for certain applications even metal castings. The Trisert-3 is the latest addition to this family and has been developed to expand the proven Trisert range into more critical and harsher applications such as marine and chemical/food processing by offering this part in 316 grade stainless steel. We believe that as an experienced supplier and based in the UK we can also offer very competitively priced products. Our parts are vision sorted and should have a defect ppm less than 100.
