On May 27th,1962, the activities of Aurea Alimentos started out, with the corporate name of Brothers Phillipi & Co Ltd, manufacturing fruit jam. This company was founded with only one goal: To use the fruit (banana and sweet potato) not commercialized in the warehouse of one of the founding partners. Nowadays, in modern installations, it occupies an industrial area of 7.300 m2 where all its production is concentrated. Aurea Alimentos is a familiar company and its management is held by the Second Generation of one of the founders, composed of 2 sons and one son-in-law. In a Search for extending and diversifying its participation in the market, they launched salty food line, with the products ketchup, mayonnaise, cheese and recently, mustard. With this diversification of products, in the end of 1999, the corporate name was changed to Aurea Industria e Co Ltd, but doing business as Aurea Alimentos. The Company has a collaborators board of 210 professionals, producing, in average,1,200 kilos of products. |
