| About | The Australia Poland Business Council Inc. (APBC Inc) is an Australian organisation established in 1991 and incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory. The principal objectives of the Council are promotion and facilitation of bilateral and multilateral economic and political relations and trade between Australia and Poland, improving mutual understanding and co-operation through fostering interaction between private sector organisations, institutions and personal contacts and other relevant activities. These include working with trade missions, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, publicity and media contacts, publications, contacts with federal, State and ACT politicians and officials, lobbying where appropriate, support of tourist activities and various similar activities. Where appropriate, APBC Inc makes submissions to Parliamentary Committees and government bodies. APBC Inc co-operates with AUSTRADE in Australia and Poland. Of course, the main emphasis is on business-related aspects of our activities. Membership is varied, including economists, businesspersons, journalists, academics, information technology professionals, etc. We have representatives, members and affiliates in Australian States and a permanent representative in Poland.
