| About | Trantor was started in 1992 to provide simple standard computing products. We offer 'off the shelf' Internet products in the United States and Canada. These are the best value for web hosting plans and related small business products. Products include communications services to provide the 'on-ramp' onto the Internet, Internet backed storage and web-based business systems. We also provide related services such as toll-free inbound marketing products and long distance services. We also offer services for custom processing, analysis, packaging, authentication and delivery of basic data for client care. We can provide delivery of data for sale and fundamental client analysis such as client credit scoring. We design services for security sensitive applications such as electronic voting and secure payment systems for both electronic and paper currency. We do basic grant-funded research in advanced transformation of data. A modest example of code released from our research is a simple base64 codec. This has found its way into many software systems worldwide. It is now also being used in consumer hardware. This research allows for robust, end-to-end, Internet-based, data-centric business systems. Trantor has worked with many of the world's largest companies.
