All of the large block molders use e-grind in their 1. 0# products that makes the material brittle and usually is undersized due to the large burnout during the cutting process. Also a lot of time the end users will order 1. 25# density material because they think re-grind is typical 1. 0# material. Once you have used our virgin 1. 0# , you can tell the difference between our material and others. 2. We have shorter turn around time. Due our smaller size, we can typically deliver our engineered packaging products in a fraction of the time as the larger block molder. Last minute order? we NEVER get beat in turn-around time. 3. On orders such as this, we would deliver this order on our own dedicated truck. What that means is that shipping is never delayed due to trying to "find" other jobs in the area to ship with it as the block molders must do to justify their shipping costs. This almost always delays shipping the order. 4. We ship small orders everyday via LTL which makes even the very little orders very inexpensive. 5. We can do the complex, engineered products buy using top notch CNC equipment get it right. What we provide is a good quality product that is "hassle-free" for the customer. They know they can order it and get delivered to their shop without having to coordinate anything and knowing the EPS will be cut exact and the best quality out there. Many customers know this about us and they can see the value in using us-some don't and never will. Those who do, they just plug in our number when they quote a job knowing there wont be any problems when it becomes an order. We are sometimes the lowest price, however foam is usually the least expensive part of the client by far and any premium we may charge is well worth it in the overall scheme of things.
