| About | United food industries corp. Ltd. Co. (ufic) belongs to the elite group of saudi businesses whose annual revenues exceed sar 100 million. It is one of the premier biscuits confectionery and snack manufacturing & marketing companies in the Kingdom. Established in march 1994 as a limited liability company, with an intitial corporate objective of manufacturing biscuits. The company started production in 1986. Manufacturing expanded exponentially and eventually included confectionery and snack products. The compnay is marketing its products under the brand name deemah which is a house hold name in saudi arabia. The company started its production in 1986 with two (2) biscuits lines and an annual capacity of 12,000 tons. In the first expansion program in 1994, it added the wafer production lines and due to its excellent product range & consistent quality measures, it registered commendable growth year after year. The growing demand for deemah products LED to the second major expansion in 1999 that eventually increased the company's production capacity. Just recently a new confectionery factory was built and became fully operational in the year 2003. Today, the biscuit factory has five (5) biscuit lines wiht annual capacity of 36,000 tons, two (2) wafer lines with 3,600 tons annual capacity, while the confectionery factory has four (4) lines with 22,800 tons annual capacity.
