The University of California hold 1000 acres of forests with many acres of old-growth bluegum eucalyptus, which may be harvested for the pulp market. In addition, the East Bay Regional Park District holds an additional 16,000 acres of old growth eucalyptus forest and wishes to participate in a planned harvest, in conjunction with a log importer.
