Lijiang River is the beautiful river in the world for clear water and strange hills surrounding it. It is originated from Mountain Cat, the highest mountain in south China. There are numerous bamboo and forest there. Farmers use bamboo to make bamboo products and cut trees to make wood charcoal. Although cutting trees are forbidden in the origin of Lijiang River, some farmers still make wood charcoal; the winter in Guilin is cold, farmers need to warm themselves by a fire. Our mother river - Lijiang is faced with a dangerous situation and its ecosystem is fragile. Bamboo is a plant which grows very fast. From baby shoots to adult shoots. It needs only 3 years, but wood needs more than 10 years. Thus, bamboo is a rich resource suitable for development. At present, the farmers use bamboo to make bamboo chopsticks, skewers and mattresses. The bamboo waste is being thrown away or being burned. It is a great pity! It is still valuable. To use bamboo waste to make bamboo vinegar and bamboo charcoal, bamboo charcoal products and charcoal briquette is our purpose; to make bamboo revalue upward to 100 times or more is our target. For the above reasons, we set up this company in Yangshuo County, 60 kilometers form Guilin in June, 2001. Our company covers 15,000 square meters.
