| About | Yunnan Red Group, solely invested in by Hongkong Crosston International Co., Ltd., was founded in 1997. We are an enterprise group running grape planting, wine making and selling, as well as the research and development and processing of grape skins and seeds. Yunnan Red Group is one of the largest foreign investment enterprises and the quickest developing enterprises in Yunnan agricultural industry. Our group owns the following 8 companies: Yunnan Gaoyuan Wine Co., Ltd., Yunnan Red Chateau Co., Ltd., Yunnan Red Wine Co., Ltd., Yunnan Highland Grape Nursery Company, Yunnan Highland Grape Planting Company, Yunnan Grape Research Institute, Yunnan Highland Brand Layout Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Highland Bio Resources Exploration Co., Ltd. There are 40 thousand mu of vineyards in Yunnan Red Chateau for growing local species, such as "Rose Honey", "Crystal Grape" and world famous vine species, such as "Merlot" and "Cabernet Sauvignon". It's a grape nursery base with a production capacity of five million tons of high quality plants yearly. Inside the vineyard, a big modern winery was built with the most advanced equipment with a production capacity of 20 thousand tons of wines (about 20 million bottles) per year. Our group also owns a large oak barrel storage cellar in Southern China. We are the only group with such equipment and scale in the southern part of Yangtze River. Since 1998, Yunnan Red wine has occupied most of the markets in Yunnan with our excellent quality. On the 1998 National Food Quality Seminar, Yunnan Red wine was evaluated as good as other famous brands among the same kind of wine in China. On the Third China Wine Packing Expo held in August 2000, Yunnan Red Group won the first prize for wine label designs. In the same year, our group also won a special prize for our packing design on the first "China Tea & Wine Expo" held in Paris of France. Earlier in May 1999, when Kunming Expo' 99 opening ceremony was held in Kunming, Yunnan Red Wine was appointed as the only wine for Chairmen Jiangzemin and leaders of other countries. In October of the same year, our reputation got known worldwide when Yunnan Red Wine was appointed specially supplied for Beijing Diaoyutai State Guest House. The wines are consequently exported to Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and the USA. |
