| About |
We are greatful to have the chance to introduce ourselves as one of the most advanced organic olive oil producers in the Aegean part of Turkey. We are based in Gokceada (aka IMBROS) and have been producing organic olive oils and honeys for many years. All our operations including production, packaging, and distribution have been controlled and verified by IMO (Institute for Marketecology GmbH) . We have a daily production capacity of 40 tonnes of olive oils and we utilize state-of-the-art ALFA LAWAL brand production machines. Ekozey Pty. Ltd. has opened its olive oil production facility in GOKCEADA (IMBROS) , CANAKKALE in 2004. Our production facility, with 20, 000 sqm of open area and 700 sqm of closed area, has the ability to process up to 40 tonnes of olives daily. Ekozey has the most advanced production facility in the region and it also uses the state-of-the-art technology in its bottleing and packaging processes. Olive oil production in the island has become a tradition for hundreds of years. There are approximately 200, 000 olive trees, some are as old as 600 years. Acidity levels of oils are as low as 0. 5-0. 7 due to the daily processing of olives, and they yield oils with superior quality. Residue oils are used in the production of fertilizers and feeds. The quality of olive oil soaps is also exquisite.
