| About | Lansdowne Board Distributors and associate company Cape Board Distributors are Cape based companies involved in the supply, upgrading, fabrication and conversion of board products. We also manufacture a large range of kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and home office furniture doors. The extensive nature of our service package allows our customers to order anything from bulk stacked truckloads of board products to precisely machined components that are shaped, grooved, pre-drilled and ready for assembly. The value added aspect of our service package extends from concept and design assistance through to precisely machined and labelled components. We are currently introducing a cabinet library that will soon do away with the traditional cut list. The library is comprehensive so there is no design restriction even to the professionals. Modification of any of the units works by parametrics so the modification instantly re-calculates the new components that are required to construct the unit. We believe that we are the first company locally to introduce a genuinely "smart cupboard". Our software library either has or can accept drilling configurations for the hardware programme of your choice, i. E. Blum, Ferrari, etc. We also distribute local and imported kitchen worktops, laminates, cabinet hardware and accessories. New and unique product offerings include customizable sliding doors for bedroom furniture and an exciting range of imported kitchen worktops in 40mm and 60mm thicknesses. The worktop finishes include a high gloss laminate range with matched splashbacks as well as solid timber worktops. We are a specialist laminate flooring distributor and currently stock a range which includes thicknesses of 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm. We also have a range that caters for applications from light residential to heavy duty commercial use. We stock accessories for underlay and finishing and have recently introduced a new 6mm "softstep" underlay which considerably reduces impact sound and walking noise. We only sell products that are manufactured to the highest quality standards and pride ourselves in our association with world class brand names like Formica, Melawood, Bisonlam, Kronotex, Blum, Ardesco, Ferrari, Masonite and Sogal.
