Fibre-Cement Sheets

In 1956, Atermit was founded as the first fibre-cement sheet producer of Turkey. Currently Atermit has 75% share of the Turkish market for fibre-cement roofing materials.
Roofs with Atermit sheets have already exceeded 150 million square meters.
“Atermit - New Generation” is the result of research and development made by the technical
staff at Atermit factories in all three plant locations. Due to flexibility in processing conditions, Atermit - New Generation has an unlimited choice of accessories for
any type of roof. It is also possible to manufacture customised pieces in order to fit unconventional roofing designs.
Atermit - New Generation is manufactured with 4
safety cords placed at tension points between the lamina. These cords protect the roofers and the materials below the roof in case of rapture during
installation.
Atermit sheets are also wrapped in stretch film right after production in order to keep the moisture within the sheets during curing. The heat from the
exothermic cement reaction and the moisture in the wrapping create the ideal conditions for a durable material.
For colourful roofs with extra protection, pre-painted
Atermit sheets are produced at our Gebze plant. The sheets are covered with 3 layers of paint specially designed for fibre-cement. Atermit guarantees the paint against
delamination and fading for 5 years.

Atermit sheets are produced to C2Y quality according to Turkish standards for fibre-cement sheets (TS EN 494). Sheet thickness
is 6.00 mm with a tolerance of ± 0.60 mm.
